Fire prevention system HYPOXIA – Protection,
prevents the actual occurrence of fire by permanently maintaining a reduced oxygen concentration below the flammability value of the stored materials in the protected space. It simply cannot catch fire.
Oxygen reduction system
How does it work
By maintaining a reduced oxygen concentration of around 15% O₂ (in most cases), which is approx. 2,700 m.a.s.l. equivalent altitude, prevents the occurrence of fire and at the same time this environment is still completely safe for human use (confirmed by the State Institute of Health and the UIAA Medical Commission).
With the help of HYPOXIA – Protection technology, we do not extinguish a fire that has already started, but permanently prevent it. That’s why our motto is: “It doesn’t burn, it doesn’t burn once and for all!”
Technology
Principle of operation
The HYPOXIA – Protection® system is a complex of devices designed for the generation and controlled supply of hypoxic air (or nitrogen) to the protected space, which leads to a reduction of the oxygen concentration below the flammability limit of the stored materials located in this space.

Advantages of the system
Prevents the fire itself
Ensures reduced fire resistance of structures (according to EN 7308 10)
No need to install heat and smoke extraction equipment (according to EN 7308 10)
Ensures unlimited fire compartment size
Small pipework size = increases storage volume
Fully replaces conventional SHZ (sprinklers, water mist, inert gases, etc.)
Safe for the human body (confirmed by the HSE)
No extinguishing = no damage or costly refilling of extinguishing agent
Possible recovery of waste heat from compressors
Possible connection to photovoltaic panels = reduced operating costs
Hypoxia Protection application
The HYPOXIA – Protection oxygen reduction system in the protected area prevents the fire itself, thus eliminating any risk and damage associated with the fire and subsequent extinguishing. In general, the oxygen reduction system is particularly suitable for enclosures in newly constructed non-productive parts of buildings where sufficient airtightness of the envelope is ensured and service openings are not permanently open.

Preventive fire protection of warehouse areas with HYPOXIA – Protection eliminates not only the risk of fire, but also the loss of work process and possible damage to property.
The system is suitable for:
- Automated warehouses
- HBW (high-bay warehouses)
- ASRS warehouses (warehouses with automatic stacker)
- Refrigerated warehouses
- Flammable liquid warehouses
- Pharmaceutical warehouses
- Chemical warehouses
- Lithium-ion battery warehouses
- Hazardous material warehouses
- Munitions warehouses
In the event of a fire or a false fire extinguisher release, very serious technical problems occur in IT premises, such as server outages, e-mail communication outages, website outages, etc., causing huge economic losses and damage for every hour of downtime. With preventive protection against fire or false fire extinguisher release, you can have a peaceful sleep!
The system is suitable for:
- Data centres
- Server rooms
- LV and HV substations
- UPS
- Battery rooms
- Test rooms
Paintings, works of art, collector’s editions, props or cultural heritage artefacts – in the event of damage from fire or the release of fire extinguisher cylinders, the extent of damage will be extensive and the damage incalculable. The HYPOXIA – Protection permanent oxygen reduction system can prevent the actual fire and the consequences after the release of extinguishant, thus ensuring maximum protection for works of incalculable value.
Another benefit of the HYPOXIA-Protection system is that it slows down the ageing of all materials, as the oxidation that causes ageing and yellowing of paper is slower in a reduced oxygen atmosphere.
The system is suitable for:
- Safes and cash registers
- Museums
- Depositories
- Safes
- Paper archives
- Film archives
- Libraries
Our services

We offer complete design and projection of our systems for all stages of project documentation, including requirements for other professions. We work closely with clients, general designers and general contractors, coordinating the project from the preliminary to the implementation phase.
We carry out complete installation, commissioning and testing of our systems.
Our technicians train on-site the personnel responsible for the maintenance and operation of the system. Technicians are also available online.
Our company offers a paid remote management service for the HYPOXIA – Protection oxygen reduction system. The service includes regular remote control of the operating parameters of the technology, monitoring of service intervals, checking of oxygen concentrations and remote resolution of any malfunctions or alarms.
We provide activities related to regular maintenance of the system (oil change, filter cartridge replacement, calibration/replacement of oxygen sensors, etc.) and warranty and post-warranty service.
We are constantly striving to improve our fire prevention system. We optimize system performance and visualization and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce power consumption.
